3 last minute Chicago Blackhawks trade packages with Calgary Flames

The Chicago Blackhawks could trade Dylan Strome while he is on fire.

Dylan Strome is a very good hockey player. He has had his ups and downs in Chicago but now might be the best time to trade him. He has a pretty high value right now because he has been so good lately.

He has played well with the Chicago Blackhawks top-six but Calgary would fit him in nicely as well. They were in on Jack Eichel which tells you that they could use somebody that can fill in that role. He is also a good winger as well which makes him valuable to any team.

Strome has been much better since Jeremy Colliton was fired because Colliton didn’t like Strome very much as a player. It was strange but the proof is right there when you look at his production from the minute the former coach was fired.

Chicago needs draft picks and they need them bad. This organization would be in much better hands if they started to have a youth movement. With more draft picks in your hands, you have a better chance of successfully rebuilding. Adding two seconds and a fifth for Strome is a great way to do that.

With just a little time left before the deadline, it will be interesting to see what they can get done. Hopefully, it is something that helps the future of this franchise.
