5 players Chicago Bears could target with Khalil Mack pick

Players the Chicago Bears could draft with Khalil Mack pick: T Abraham Lucas, Washington State
One area where Bears fans might be torn at is tackle. Some believe the Bears could try and roll into the 2022 season with Teven Jenkins and Larry Borom as the starting tackles, but then again, Borom may not be quite ready to take on a starting role.
Jenkins is a second-round pick with plenty of pedigree coming into the league, but the Bears may want to pair him with another higher pick. That’s where someone like Abraham Lucas could be the right pick.
Coming out of Washington State, Lucas stands a towering 6-foot-7 and weighs 324 pounds. He could afford to add a little bit more strength by way of adding some positive weight, but overall, he’s an intriguing prospect who should become a solid starter.
Lucas excels in any scheme, but would serve best in a run-heavy offense. As most are anticipating, the Bears will be running quite a bit in a Shanahan style offense.
In pass protection, Lucas could afford to add some strength to his anchor and then he’d become an all-around tackle. He’s best in run blocking, but that’s not to say he couldn’t become a strong pass protector.
