Patrick Kane and the Chicago Blackhawks absolutely destroyed the Anaheim Ducks on Tuesday night. They won by a final score of 8-3 at the United Center. Kane, along with a few other players, had big games which allowed Chicago to collect a big win.

Of course, like most nights, Kane was at the center of it all. For the first time in his career, he had six points in one game (one goal and five assists). It was the most productive game that Kane has ever had which is saying something because he is going to be a first-ballot Hall of Famer.

Dylan Strome had a hat trick in the game and Kane had the primary assist on all three of the goals. They clearly have some chemistry now which has been great to see. It’s almost as if the previous coach was wrong about Strome and everybody knew it but him.

Strome had a hat trick and chipped in an assist so he had four points on the night. Alex DeBrincat also had four points so it was the usual suspects leading the way for Chicago. These three players have been outstanding lately. It is just terrible that the Hawks are wasting a season like this from these guys.

It was nice to see Jonathan Toews get on the board as well. He has had a tough season coming back from his illness that he dealt with in 2020-21 so getting him going would be nice. We are always rooting for one of the best in franchise history to succeed.

Patrick Kane has been outstanding for the Chicago Blackhawks in recent years.

Kane’s game has been remarkable lately. Coming into this game against the Ducks, he had 11 points in his last six games. Now, with six points in this game, he can say that he has 17 points in his last 7 games which is absolutely insane.

It is really unfortunate that the Blackhawks are 17 points out of a playoff spot because the sport deserves to have Kane in the postseason. He now has 64 points in 54 games played. He will eclipse 90 points once again but then be sent packing early which is just a shame.

The only way that doesn’t happen is if he gets traded. He has a hefty cap hit which makes him hard to trade but teams have already inquired. It would be tough to see him leave town but he has so much more to give than what Chicago is allowing him to do. For now, we will just remember this outstanding six-point performance as he continues to heat up.
