The Chicago Bears could trade a player and picks for DK Metcalf

Let’s go back to Metcalf once more, because getting a youthful and dominant wide receiver is well-worth it. If the Bears wanted to get creative, they could stick with a second-round pick, but also talk about throwing in a player as well.

The Bears have been rumored to possibly trade Khalil Mack or Robert Quinn this offseason, but the Seahawks probably wouldn’t care to take on big contracts like those. Instead, the Bears could offer Trevis Gipson, who has shown a ton of promise playing as a reserve the last couple of years.

Along with Gipson, the Bears would send that second rounder and a sixth rounder in next year’s draft.

The Seahawks get a young pass rusher and a pair of picks to use in this now-realized rebuild they’re in. Meanwhile, the Bears land their big time wide receiver and should begin working on an extension ahead of time, if they’re smart.
