5 receivers rumored to be available via trade for the Chicago Bears

The Chicago Bears could trade for Cole Beasley, who is rumored to be on the block
Next up, the Bears could choose to try and pluck a weapon away from Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills’ prolific offense. Slot receiver Cole Beasley is reportedly on the block, but the Bills very well could end up releasing him if they do not find a trade partner.
At this point in his career, Beasley is 33 years old and still offers any team a high-caliber pair of hands in the slot. He’s shifty and runs excellent routes, but also has incredibly sticky hands. Beasley catches everything.
Buffalo could choose to cut Beasley and they’d be out just $1.5 million in dead cap, so he would come cheap. Considering his age, the Bears could easily send a sixth rounder to Buffalo and get this deal done.
The Bills have Gabe Davis and Isaiah McKenzie coming up in their receiving core, as well, so Beasley’s departure wouldn’t hurt the team too badly. Buffalo is also going to save a good chunk of money in doing this, so it would be a win-win for both sides.
Getting Beasley to Chicago would allow the Bears some breathing room for the next year while they find a long-term solution to take his place. But, more importantly, he’d be a security blanket for Justin Fields.
