3 insane Patrick Kane trade packages with Colorado Avalanche

The Chicago Blackhawks could get some good young players for Patrick Kane.

It would take years to decide who won the Patrick Kane trade from a hockey point of view. However, it would be hard to argue it was Chicago if the Avalanche won the Stanley Cup with Kane on their roster.

Chicago really would need to get the most out of the players that they acquire and draft with the picks. We know about the draft picks in this trade package from the previous one. Adding an extra first-round pick in 2023 is really smart for any rebuilding team as it is such a deep draft.

Tyson Jost and Alex Newhook are both players that were top prospects for the Avalanche at different points. Newhook is still a very young player that could become a star in the NHL. He has looked very good so far this season.

A trade like this, despite which picks and players they actually would be, is smart because Chicago would be getting two high-quality draft selections with two very good players that are both under the age of 24. Both of them can only go up from here which is nice. The Hawks need to consider something like this. It could be amazing for their future.
