3 reasons the Chicago Bears should be all in on Amari Cooper

1. Justin Fields

The Chicago Bears need to do what they can to get the most out of Justin Fields.

The Chicago Bears have had no offense worth speaking of during the Matt Nagy/Ryan Pace Era. He was not able to advance either of his young quarterbacks in Mitchell Trubisky or Justin Fields. Mitch is gone now but Fields still has high hopes.

In order to get the most out of Fields, however, is to give him the tools that he needs in order to succeed. Adding a receiver like Amari Cooper, who has been a Pro Bowl level guy in his career, would really help him do that.

Allen Robinson is probably going to be gone so they are going to need a new number one target. They would add that by putting Cooper there with Fields. The entire future of the Chicago Bears relies on Fields because they will go nowhere if he doesn’t succeed.

Fields can take a big step in 2022. We should know by the end of this upcoming season whether or not he is the guy. Amari Cooper should help him realize his potential due to his ability to transform an offense.

It would be nice to see this team finally do something good for their offense because they have proven that they can’t win on defense alone. Without the quarterback playing well, that is very much impossible.
