Jahan Dotson is one Chicago Bears receiver target to watch at the 2022 NFL Combine

Senior

College: Penn State

Height: 5’11’’

Weight: 184 lbs

Career Numbers: 183 receptions, 2,757 yards, 25 touchdowns

If Eberflus is focused on quick twitch athletes with high levels of speed, quickness and acceleration, then Jahan Dotson is the exact definition of an Eberflus player. The Penn State product has all of those things, and they’re the main reasons why he’s such a tantalizing prospect.

Dotson is a guy who can play either outside or inside and makes his living by making people miss. His route running is smooth and he uses his quickness to get in and out of breaks with ease.

Dotson would give Fields a receiver who can take the football and immediately make plays with it after the catch. He’s great at avoiding potential tacklers and slithering in and out of traffic. A lack of strength could prevent Dotson from being the absolute best version of himself as a pro, so he could afford to add some muscle. But, aside from that, he’s got everything else.

light. Must Read. 5 trades the Bears can make before free agency

Ball-tracking, ball skills and just plain, old acrobatic moves in mid-air — Dotson is fun to watch and would give the Bears a legitimate weapon. He could fall anywhere from the second to third round, so he’s definitely within range for the Bears.
