Odell Beckham Jr. would really help Justin Fields and the Chicago Bears offense.

Few people have had stranger careers than Odell Beckham Jr. He started out as a 12th overall pick in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft out of LSU. When he came into the league, it was clear that he is one of the best wide receivers in the league.

He reached new heights of fame when he made a miraculous catch on NBC’s Sunday Night Football that went viral on the internet. From that moment on, his career was never the same. He was always outstanding but he rarely lived up to that moment for a long time.

Different things led to his departure from the Giants as they finally traded him to the Cleveland Browns in 2019. It didn’t last long there either, however as they traded him to the Rams during the 2021-22 regular season.

For some reason, it didn’t work out for Odell in New York or Cleveland but he really found himself in Los Angeles. We all knew he had talent but he needed to take it to the next level. He did just that in LA and it was a big reason that they wake up today as Super Bowl champions.

If he brought some of his skills to the Chicago Bears, their offense would instantly be better. Darnell Mooney wouldn’t be any Cooper Kupp lining up opposite of him but he is still a very good developing wide receiver.

In the same breath, Justin Fields isn’t even close to Matthew Stafford right now but he could get there. If he was willing to be this kind of teammate, Beckham could even play a big part in his development. His experience is now extremely noteworthy.

The Bears could or they couldn’t go for any of these guys but they absolutely should. Anyone who can help your team in addition to bringing championship experience is an asset. The Bears need as much help as they can get in both the talent and leadership development.
