The Chicago Bears need to make sure that Justin Fields is the quarterback they need.

Do you still think that defense wins championships? Does Tom Brady play defense? That guy won seven of the past 21 Super Bowls. Mixed in have been other superstar quarterbacks like Patrick Mahomes, Peyton Manning, Aaron Rodgers, Drew Brees, and Russell Wilson amongst others. It is a quarterback-driven league.

You can even look to this year’s postseason. Joe Burrow is meeting up with Matthew Stafford in the Super Bowl which is a battle of two former number one pick quarterback prospects. These guys know how to move the football so that their offense can score points.

We know that they both need talent around them in the front office, coaching staff, and other good offensive players. Matthew Stafford was always sold short in Detroit but he has shown how much an elite quarterback can thrive when put in a position to succeed.

The Bears drafted Justin Fields in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft. Why did they do that? Mitchell Trubisky wasn’t it and they were going nowhere just because they had a good defense. You need a guy who can move the offense.

The Bengals were bad until they landed Burrow. Now, he is elite and they are reaping the benefits of it. The Bears need to watch this and realize that Justin Fields is even more important to their success than they think. If he fails, they will fail too.
