With two straight losses, the Chicago Bulls have now dropped to third place in the Eastern Conference behind the Miami Heat and the Milwaukee Bucks.

The 2022 NBA trade deadline is this Thursday, and after losing two in a row and going 5-5 in their last 10, the Bulls may be inclined more than ever to make a move this year.

Last year, Arturas Karnisovas and Marc Eversley went big at the deadline by acquiring Nikola Vucevic from the Orlando Magic. That proved this new front office was not messing around, and this year could be no different.

At the moment, the Bulls could mostly use another big man. Ideally, targeting a player who could play either the four or five would be in their best interest.

There are several rumored players available at the trade deadline which should interest the Chicago Bulls.

Whether it be via buyout or trade, the Bulls could have plenty of options to add another big. It’s been especially difficult without Patrick Williams this year, although he could return before the playoffs.

Billy Donovan has used a lot of different lineups throughout the year, while dealing with the loss of Williams.

Like they proved last year, the Bulls aren’t opposed to trading future draft capital — even first-round picks. One of their intriguing assets, right now, is the Portland Trailblazers’ first rounder, which is lottery protected.

Using that pick, along with some players, could net the Bulls the big man they’re looking for. Potentially, one of these five could come in and help at the power forward spot.
