Ryan Poles dominates in this Chicago Bears 2022 Mock Draft
By Ryan Heckman
The Bears’ first two picks were difficult to pass on, and surely there will be fans upset that the team didn’t address offensive line earlier. But, this mock is with one assumption in mind: the Bears go out and pay at least one free agent lineman.
Then, with their second pick in the third round, the Bears take Memphis guard Dylan Parham. When fans find out what Parham is capable of, they will wonder just how he fell to the third round. But, as of right now, that’s where he’s being mocked.
Parham is surely to jump up draft boards after he tests at the Combine. He is a guy who can block at the second level and move in a hurry, if asked. At the same time, he packs tremendous power while keeping a low pad level.
Truthfully, he does almost everything well. The one knock he’ll have on him is his size. Standing 6-foot-3 and 285 pounds, Parham could afford to put on 20-30 pounds if he wanted to match the average NFL lineman. But, even at his size, he’s able to move defensive linemen backwards with authority. He is a unique physical talent, without a doubt.
