The first order of business for the Bears in the draft is to acquire additional draft capital. If possible, the Bears should do whatever they can to net themselves a total of three top-100 picks. If they can swing a trade like this, the Bears should be in pretty good shape to find key starters for the 2022 season.

In this deal, the Bears move back to pick no. 49. Penn State safety Jaquan Brisker was still on the board in this mock, therefore he becomes the easiest pick the Bears may have ever had. Arguably the top safety in the draft, Brisker would come in and immediately start from Day 1.

Brisker is one heck of a physical specimen with great length and athletic ability. He can play all over the field, too. Penn State used him in different spots, depending on the situation. Brisker is even comfortable playing up towards the line of scrimmage in short yardage situations.

This is a guy who doesn’t shy away from contact, nor does he miss many tackles. Brisker has ideal size, standing 6-foot-1 and weighing 200 pounds. As stated, his athleticism is tremendous. Per The Draft Network, Brisker was credited with a 35’5” triple jump and a 10’7” standing broad jump last summer.

The Bears’ secondary becomes a whole lot better, and a lot of worry is relieved, with this pick. Brisker will be a stud.
