Davante Adams would be a dream free agent signing for the Chicago Bears
Of course, Davante Adams is the prized bull in this year’s free agent crop. His name is one you’re going to hear plenty about leading up to the new league year.
Adams’ future likely remains tied to what Aaron Rodgers is going to do this offseason. Will Rodgers choose to return to the Packers? Or, will he ask to be traded as was agreed upon last year between he and the organization?
If Rodgers indeed lands elsewhere, it’s almost certain to assume Adams won’t return to Green Bay.
The All Pro wideout has been essentially unstoppable for the last five or six seasons, but has truly become an elite receiver over the past three. Of the last four seasons, three have seen Adams caught a minimum of 110 passes and 11 touchdowns — and last year, he caught 18 scores.
Should Adams somehow become interested in following Getsy to Chicago, there would be absolute elation amongst Bears fans. Adams is arguably the best receiver in football, and coming to the Bears to play next to Darnell Mooney might give Chicago the best duo in all of football going forward.
