The Chicago Bears could add wide receiver depth with Equanimeous St. Brown

For three years now, Equanimeous St. Brown has been fairly low on the Packers’ depth chart — but he continues to make the team each year. Now, a free agent, he may choose to sign closer to where he played his college ball at Notre Dame.

Coming out of the draft in 2018, St. Brown was a popular late-round pick to the Bears in a lot of mock drafts due to Chicagoans having an affinity towards the Irish. He very well could be an option to round out the Bears’ depth here in 2022.

In three seasons with Green Bay, St. Brown has caught 37 passes for 543 yards and one touchdown — and over half of those yards came in his rookie campaign. For the past two years, he hasn’t seen the field much.

Still, the 25-year-old presents a nice downfield option or red zone target, as he stands 6-foot-5 and possesses ideal size.

He wouldn’t come in as a starter by any means, but to be the fourth or fifth option isn’t out of the realm of possibilities.
