The Chicago Bulls could sign veteran point guard Mario Chalmers

Finally, we come to a guy who is in the midst of trying to make an NBA comeback. Mario Chalmers did sign a 10-day contract with the Miami Heat earlier this season when the team was down a chunk of its roster, but he never played in a game.

Chalmers currently plays for the Sioux Falls Skyforce of the NBA G League. He’s stayed playing basketball since his last stint in the NBA back in 2018 with the Memphis Grizzlies. Chalmers has played for four international squads and now two G League teams since then.

Of course, Chalmers is most known for his days with the Heat back when LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh were teammates. Chalmers has always been a decent three-point shooter and a guy who takes the ball away from the opposition, averaging 1.5 career steals per game.

Talking about playoff experience with Teague, that’s another thing that Chalmers could bring to the table. He’s played in countless playoff series alongside some of the greats like LeBron and Wade.

Again, any of these guys would be a bandaid type of addition and wouldn’t be playing over Dosunmu or White. But, having them in Chicago as depth pieces would be valuable until Ball comes back.
