3. The Chicago Bulls should wait and see if Harrison Barnes is bought out

Over the last 10 years, Harrison Barnes has done something pretty admirable. He has quietly been one of the most underrated players in all of basketball while quietly maintaining a decade-long career as a starter in this league.

Barnes would come in and immediately become the Bulls’ starter at the four spot until Patrick Williams returned — and even then, the Bulls may ease Williams back in off the bench.

The Sacramento Kings could be sellers a the deadline, once again. It seems like Barnes’ name has come up in rumors for the past year or so, but this year, they might finally choose to cut ties. They are just five games above the last-place Houston Rockets in the Western Conference.

This season, Barnes is doing exactly what he’s done for so long now. He’s averaging 16.3 points on 45 percent shooting (including a career-best 42 percent from deep). Barnes is also posting 6.1 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game. If cut, Barnes becomes a perfect target for this Bulls team.
