3. Ran Carthon

Ran Carthon would make a very good candidate for Chicago Bears GM.

The Chicago Bears should take everything that they have always done and do the exact opposite. They haven’t done well as a team in a very long time. They have only won three playoff games in most of the players’ lives so it has not been great at all. They should really consider someone that is known to bring in great talent.

Ran Carthon is someone who would make a great candidate for the job. He currently serves as the director of pro personnel for the San Francisco 49ers. He plays a big role in them getting good players which is impressive because they sure do have a lot of good players.

Before that, Carthon served as a pro scout for the Atlanta Falcons and a director of player personal for the Los Angeles Rams. He has certainly been around some good organizations that do a good job of bringing in talent. The Bears could certainly use someone like this.

The list of people that the Bears are interviewing is hefty. It may be a couple of more days before we truly find out who the person for the job is and we can only hope that it is someone who knows what they are doing. Going with one of these “under the radar” candidates could prove to look really smart one day.
