Michael Gallup would come at a discount for the Chicago Bears

Maybe the most underrated receiver in football just went down for the season with an ACL injury. Michael Gallup will now enter free agency without a guarantee that he’ll be healthy for training camp next summer.

The Dallas Cowboys have CeeDee Lamb and Amari Cooper, already. They have also seen productivity from Cedric Wilson in the place of any injured starter throughout the past couple of seasons. Most would assume that the Cowboys will let Gallup walk and get as much money as he can in free agency.

The question is, though, how much money will he command after the ACL injury? The timing of his injury is tough, because a normal recovery may have him ready by Week 1 of next season, but likely at the earliest.

Gallup is a strong route runner and also offers a phenomenal catch radius. He makes deep, over-the-shoulder catches look routine for the most part. If he was on another team, he very well could be the number one guy.
