Patrick Kane could fetch the Chicago Blackhawks a lot on the trade market.

The Chicago Blackhawks could get a lot for Patrick Kane. They could go for one incredible prospect like the first trade suggests or they could go for depth. The Colorado Avalanche doesn’t have a first-round pick in 2022 because they traded it away but they could give the 2023 pick. It is considered to be an incredibly deep draft so getting as many selections in that one is wildly important.

If they traded Nazem Kadri and Valeri Nichuskin for Kane, it would make fitting him under the cap a reality. Both of those guys would provide some sandpaper and skill to the Blackhawks lineup in the present as well which is needed. They both can score goals which are something the Blackhawks need from the depth players in the lineup. In the case of Kadri, he brings significant offense at times.

Shane Bowers, in addition to the first-round pick, would be a solid addition for the Blackhawks. He is one of Colorado’s top prospects that should be able to make an impact at the NHL level. He was drafted in the first round (27th overall) by the Ottawa Senators.

Following his draft, he was sent to the Avalanche in a three-team trade that sent Matt Duchene to the Senators. The Nashville Predators were the third team involved. He is currently playing for the Colorado Eagles of the AHL waiting to get that call. A move to a team like the Blackhawks might earn him that call much sooner.
