The Chicago Blackhawks are a team that had playoff expectations going into the season but that fell way off in October thanks to their horrid start. They fired their coach Jeremy Colliton and started to play much better under Derek King but that may end up not being enough. Going forward, they might need to make some big changes to their franchise.

One of those big changes might have to be with their superstars. Patrick Kane has been an elite player for them for a long time. He has an MVP, playoff MVP, and three Stanley Cup championships to go with a plethora of other career achievements. He is going to be a first-ballot Hall of Fame player when it is all said and done.

Kane is still in the prime of his career so his value is through the roof. It isn’t going to last like that forever, however, as he only has the rest of this year and next year left on his deal. With every passing day, his value decreases as a result but he could help a contender take that next step either this year or next.

One of those teams is the Colorado Avalanche. They can afford him if they make a few tweaks to their roster to stay under the salary cap. With the way that Nathan MacKinnon’s current contract is set up, the Avalanche should be all-in on winning the Stanley Cup either this year or next.

Patrick Kane would fit right in with the Colorado Avalanche via a trade.

Patrick Kane would help them with that. With MacKinnon along with Mikko Rantanen, Gabriel Landeskog, and Cale Makar, Kane would fit right in with those superstars. These three trades might get it done:
