4. This is a do-or-die game for the Chicago Bears and their 2021 season

Sure, we just covered the Bears’ 2021 season being a lost cause. However, there will be some players and coaches looking at Sunday night as a last-ditch effort to stay in the hunt. If the Bears drop a ninth loss, they will all but be officially eliminated.

Sneaking into the playoffs at 8-9 seems fairly unlikely at this point.

Sunday night could be the nail in the coffin — and at the hands of Green Bay. A death sentence handed out by Rodgers and the Packers would be a difficult pill to swallow for the players and coaches, therefore Sunday night could be closer than we think.

Even though the Bears aren’t likely to make the postseason, this game is about pride, if nothing else. Will we see the Bears team that laid down against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers earlier this year, or a competitive effort from a group that knows this is their chance to make a statement at take some pride in their work?
