The Chicago Bulls are off and running, posting a 17-8 record and currently sitting at the number two seed in the East just over a quarter way through the season.

Things are going as planned. DeMar DeRozen and Zach LaVine are gelling. Lonzo Ball and Alex Caruso are the models of consistency on both ends of the court. Meanwhile, Nikola Vucevic is rounding back into All-Star form.

The city of Chicago is buzzing and hasn’t felt this way about the Bulls since the Thibodeau era. But what if it could get better?

The NBA is one of the most active leagues there is when it comes to personnel changes. Players oftentimes want out shortly after signing an extension. Coaches are also getting fired midseason for poor play. It really is one of the greatest reality shows there is.

This season is no different. According to reports, the Indiana Pacers are in sell mode and are open to trading any of their stars. The Bulls should jump on in and strike while the iron is hot.

The Chicago Bulls should target one of the Pacer big men that are now reportedly available.

With the success that the Chicago Bulls are having, it is hard to add or subtract with the potential of ruining chemistry. Conversely, you don’t often get the opportunity to add a former All-Star or one of the best defensive big men in the league.

Both Myles Turner and Domantas Sabonis are bonafide studs in this league. With the Pacers reeling, adding one of these two stars could make the Bulls a true contender to win a title:
