5. Chicago Bulls fans can be thankful for winning basketball

Above all else, it is pretty simple. Bulls fans have suffered long enough, and now, the team is winning. That’s what it’s all about.

Let us remember, it was not long ago that the Bulls were under Jim Boylen’s leadership and saw him bench Zach LaVine at one point. That’s just how bad it had gotten in Chicago.

Times have changed drastically. The culture has pulled a complete 180 under Donovan, and more importantly, under Arturas Karnisovas and Marc Eversley. The organization, as a whole, is functioning at an all-time high.

The rear view mirror sees the days of Gar Forman and John Paxson getting further and further in the distance. Quite honestly, those days seem so long ago now that the Bulls are relevant again.

In just two offseasons, this front office has given the team a total facelift, and it’s all come together thanks to Donovan.

When was the last time we saw the Bulls in the top 10 of any outlet’s power rankings? How about the last time we saw any Bulls player in the top 10 of any outlet’s MVP rankings? It’s been about a decade.
