3. Chicago Bulls fans can be thankful for Nikola Vucevic’s improving health

Nikola Vucevic’s last game was November 10th before going out due to health and safety protocol. Over that time frame, the Bulls have indeed continued to win. However, they have severely missed Vucevic.

There have been games, like the recent matchup with the Indiana Pacers, where Chicago has been bullied on the glass. Without Vucevic, they haven’t had an answer for strong front courts like the one in Indiana.

Instead, it’s taken tremendous effort from guys like Derrick Jones Jr., Alex Caruso and Javonte Green to collectively crash the glass and try to make up for Vucevic’s absence.

Other nights, the offense has gone stale, and you could tell that if Vucevic was there, things would be different. The Bulls don’t have another big man who can be a threat all over the court. Vucevic’s ability to knock down the three ball is an underrated aspect of this Bulls team.

Vucevic is also a great passer, which is another thing Tony Bradley cannot offer the Bulls. Chicago has held water without him, but the fact that Vucevic is back now gives Bulls fans a reason to be very thankful.
