1. Chicago Bulls fans can be thankful for DeMar DeRozan and Zach LaVine

What more could anyone possibly have expected or asked of DeMar DeRozan and Zach LaVine this year? This is the NBA’s top scoring duo, no question. The relationship between DeRozan and LaVine has been special, and developed quickly.

After every game, we continue to hear things from DeRozan about how much he admires LaVine’s game. Recently, DeRozan told the media that he’s “never played with a guy like Zach” before, and raved about what LaVine offers to this team.

So far this season, the duo is averaging a collective 52.2 points, 10.6 rebounds, 7.8 assists and 1.4 steals per game. DeRozan is shooting a blistering 49.0 percent from the field and 35.6 percent from beyond the arc, while LaVine is shooting 48.4 percent overall and 38.9 percent from long distance.

Before the season began, the infamous headlines caught fire, stating that DeRozan was the worst offseason signing across the league. Now, those headlines have become increasingly popular amongst players and fans — for the wrong reasons, if you’re the author of such content.

The Bulls have two legitimate All Stars right now. Let’s be thankful.
