We are just about a quarter of the way through the 2021-2022 NBA season, and Chicago Bulls fans have so much to be thankful for.

During a year where the Bears are a complete mess from the top-down, the Blackhawks endured an in-season coaching change and the Cubs fell flat on their face, it has been refreshing to see Bulls basketball come back stronger than it’s been in a while.

As it stands, the Bulls are 12-7 and continue to establish themselves as one of the top teams in the Eastern Conference.

One of the reasons the Bulls are being taken seriously is the fact that they recently handled a tough, 12-game stretch with lots of grit. Chicago faced 11 playoff teams from last year and then the Golden State Warriors, and came out ahead in the win column overall.

This Thanksgiving, Chicago Bulls fans should sit back and remind themselves of just how special this team is.

The Bulls have not been truly relevant in what seems like forever. The prime days of Derrick Rose are long gone. The team even recently honored the retired Joakim Noah, once the league’s Defensive Player of the Year in Chicago.

Those days under Tom Thibodeau were special, but this team might end up being even better as a whole. Head coach Billy Donovan has them all playing together, and the team looks more cohesive than we’re used to seeing in recent years.

There are a lot of reasons to be thankful for this Bulls team. It is tough to narrow down all of the positives. But, five in particular are greater than the rest. Let’s have some fun and simply allow ourselves to feel all warm and fuzzy today, with the top five reasons to be thankful for this Bulls team.
