3. Chicago Bears fans would be thankful to sign a top tier free agent wide receiver

Next year, the Bears will see wide receiver Allen Robinson walk in free agency. It’s safe to say that he’s already thinking about his next home, as Robinson hasn’t always given full effort this season. He’s been seen jogging through routes or simply doing nothing to sell a pass on run plays.

Robinson’s relationship with the Bears has been toast for over a year now, and he’s not coming back. Therefore, the team will desperately need to find a replacement. While they could opt to use their second-round pick on a receiver next year, they also have tremendous needs up front on the offensive line and in their secondary.

Free agency might be the best route to go when it comes to replacing Robinson. Guys like Chris Godwin, Odell Beckham Jr., DJ Chark, Mike Williams, JuJu Smith-Schuster and Antonio Brown will be free agents in 2022.

That’s a pretty decent crop of talent to pick from, if you’re the Bears. The team will have a no. 2 guy locked and loaded, in Darnell Mooney. If they can pair him with one of the above receivers, Bears fans will be overly thankful and have plenty of reason to believe that this next thought could happen.
