Over the course of the 2021 offseason, there was quite the saga going on in Green Bay. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers had not spent any time with the team all offseason long, but instead went on extravagant vacations and spent time with those closest to him.

During that period, there were several reports and rumors that stated Rodgers wanted out of Green Bay. Some even went so far as to say that Rodgers was indeed going to be traded, with the Denver Broncos being in the mix as one of the top rumored teams.

Although that never ended up happening, another report came out stating that this would be Rodgers’ last season with the Packers and that next year, the team would trade him.

Alas, the Rodgers era in Green Bay will come to a close. Nothing is for certain, but it sure looks like Rodgers’ days are numbered as a Packer.

For nearly three decades, the Bears have dealt with elite Packers quarterbacks between Rodgers and Brett Favre. It’s only right that, finally, the Packers’ quarterback situation is less than ideal.

That time is coming, and Bears fans will rejoice.
