Chicago Bears: Sunday’s game was a disgusting disgrace
The Chicago Bears are in a very tough spot. They are now 3-7 after a disgusting display of football on Sunday afternoon at Soldier Field. Thier losing streak is now at five as they sit in second to last place of the NFC North Division. Things are as pathetic as they have ever been in the history of the franchise. This game against the Baltimore Ravens was a disgrace to anyone that is a Bears fan.
It started about an hour after finding out that Lamar Jackson was out. He missed the game due to an illness that is not COVID-19. From that moment on, you had a feeling that the Bears might have a chance to win, Lamar would have toasted their defense but that was now off the table.
Tyler Huntley found out from Lamar Jackson that he was going to be the starter on Sunday. It was a big moment for him as he got to step in and make his first career start. It was a game that the Ravens really wanted to win over a much weaker opponent. It was never going to be easy with Huntley being forced in like that but he did just fine.
As much as Huntley deserves credit for the way that he handled himself on short notice, the Bears team deserves plenty of flack. They are terrible in every way. They can’t score, they are poorly coached, and they have bad discipline.
The Chicago Bears had a terrible loss to the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday.
There is nothing that goes right for them in any way you look at it. Losing this game without Jackson in Baltimore’s lineup is one of the worst looks that this organization has ever had on the field.
Justin Fields was hurt in the game which made it even worse. He left because of a rib injury so Andy Dalton was finally able to step back in and do his thing. His thing is playing quarterback poorly.
Dalton was able to make one really nice touchdown pass but he made a lot of bad throws that sailed over receivers heads as well. Hopefully, Fields is okay because this team is bad with him and worse without him.
Chicago is a very injured team. They are missing Khalil Mack, Akiem Hicks, and Allen Robinson amongst others which makes it even harder to win. However, losing this game in this situation by a final score of 16-13 is hard to swallow. They have never made a coaching change mid-season but now should be the time.
