3 reasons the Chicago Bulls must trade for Marvin Bagley
By Ryan Heckman
What a start to the season it has been for the Chicago Bulls. At 10-5, the Bulls look like the cream of the Eastern Conference crop right now.
One of the reasons this Bulls team has been so good is because of the play of their starting back court. Lonzo Ball, Zach LaVine and DeMar DeRozan have been a monstrous trio as of late and have fed well off each other.
DeRozan, specifically, has taken over the alpha role and it’s been special to watch. It’s been especially heart-warming to see a guy like LaVine be completely fine with DeRozan taking the lead. Those two have formed a tight bond already and clearly enjoy playing together. They also enjoy proving the critics wrong — and the fans are loving it.
Although it has been a promising start to the season, the Bulls do have one gaping hole that they will need to fill eventually. They need a big man to help replace Patrick Williams’ loss — and Marvin Bagley might just be the guy to do it.
The Chicago Bulls must trade for Marvin Bagley sooner rather than later.
The trade deadline isn’t until February 10, 2022. But, the Bulls need to get ahead of the game when it comes to trading for a guy like Bagley.
At the moment, Bagley and the Sacramento Kings do not have a sustainable relationship. The Kings will likely trade him, according to plenty of recent rumors.
