Ed Olczyk

Eddie Olczyk would be a great person to come in and lead the Chicago Blackhawks.

The Chicago Blackhawks organization needs to earn the trust of fans back. They also need to just become a better ran organization in every way. Ed Olczyk is someone who can do that. He is a great human being that is well respected in the hockey community.

If someone like him was hired, he might be the President of Hockey Operations who hires another general manager but having him replace Stan Bowman as the guy in charge would be great. Olczyk has served as a television broadcaster for a long time.

In between that and his playing days, he also was a coach in the NHL. He knows the game as well as anyone and he has great relationships around the league. If he were brought in, it wouldn’t be long before the Hawks were considered to be a model franchise again. As good as he would be on the hockey side of things, he would also do the right thing when it comes to the off-ice stuff.

There aren’t many people on earth that love the Chicago Blackhawks more than Ed Olczyk. He is a Chicago kid that had the honor of playing for the team and broadcasting their games. He should absolutely be on the shortlist of people to come in and permanently take this job.
