Chicago Bears: 10 Matt Nagy replacements to start watching closely
By Ryan Heckman
Chicago Bears head coach Matt Nagy could be replaced by Jim Harbaugh
Maybe the least-popular option of all options mentioned in NFL head coaching candidates is that of Jim Harbaugh returning to the league. Harbaugh had a short stint with the San Francisco 49ers from 2011-2014 and even took his Niners to the Super Bowl once during that span.
Since 2015, Harbaugh has been the head football coach at Michigan, where he’s gone 56-23 to this point with just one bowl win. Some like the idea of Harbaugh’s tough mentality back in the NFL while others wonder if his quick time with the Niners was a bit of a mirage, having one of the league’s top defenses under Vic Fangio.
Harbaugh has failed to bring a National Championship to Michigan and only brought them a single bowl win, therefore, what makes him qualified to return to the NFL?
At this point, Harbaugh is just a big name. His brother has done much better and for a longer period of time in the NFL. If anything Jim should stay in college. But, some may seek him out for an interview, nonetheless.
