The Seattle Seahawks should try and get Andy Dalton from the Chicago Bears.

The Chicago Bears and Seattle Seahawks would each be wise to make a trade involving Andy Daton. For the Bears, it would be them adding some draft capital that they desperately need. A 6th round pick won’t make up for their lack of a first-round pick but it would be better than nothing.

If they traded Andy Dalton, they would have Justin Fields as the starter no matter what. They say he is the guy now but we know how much we can trust Matt Nagy as far as that’s concerned. He could go back to Dalton any time he feels like it and that is scary which is why they should trade him now. Nick Foles would be a perfectly fine backup to Fields.

As for the Seahawks, Dalton could replace Russell Wilson who is out right now. His timetable for a return is unknown after having finger surgery. Geno Smith started in their last game and they did not win. Smith handed the Pittsburgh Steelers a victory in overtime when he lost the football via a fumble.

Since then, they have claimed Jacob Eason off waivers from the Indianapolis Colts and he might be the guy for them right now. We all know that Andy Dalton would be a significant upgrade for them which is why this trade makes so much sense for both sides.
