Dylan Strome’s time with the Chicago Blackhawks seems to be coming to an end.

The Chicago Blackhawks made a really smart trade a few years ago when they traded Nick Schmaltz to the Arizona Coyotes and brought back Dylan Strome. He was a third overall pick that has a lot of talent. He started off very well with the Hawks because he is incredibly skilled and knows how to create offense. For some reason, since then, the Blackhawks haven’t seen the same, Strome.

It is largely their own fault because they don’t use him right. For one, he has been a healthy scratch in all three games. The Hawks haven’t won a single one of those games. It might be time to use him unless they know they can get a trade done soon. It is honestly kind of foolish to have him as a healthy scratch at this point because he is much better than some of the players in the lineup ahead of him.

If Strome goes to another team, he has a lot to give. He can make great plays to set up teammates and he can score a fair amount of goals. For some reason, Jeremy Colliton has him in his doghouse and it just makes no sense. It would be nice to see Stan Bowman get something for him while he still can. The longer this goes on, the worse off it is going to become.
