Chicago Bears: 3 superstars to trade away before the deadline
Robert Quinn is having a very good resurgence with the Chicago Bears this year.
The Chicago Bears were wildly underwhelmed by Robert Quinn in his first season with the team. He did not do a good job of getting to the quarterback in his time with them in 2020 which lowered the expectations in 2021. However, he has been proving a lot of people wrong with his start to this season.
Quinn has been magnificent in terms of getting to the quarterback so far this season. Along with guys like Khalil Mack and Akiem Hicks, the Bears have had one of the best pass rushes in the entire NFL. They even made life hard on Aaron Rodgers in this Packers game before the offense failed to get them enough points to win.
Quinn would be welcomed onto a championship contender with open arms. He makes a lot of money and his 2020 season is still in the back of people’s minds so he might not land that much in a trade but it could be decent.
If the Bears were smart, they would do everything they can to trade this guy right now. He raised his trade value to a point where some other teams might consider them if they believe they are a solid pass rusher away from contending. It would be less than ideal to think about trading him when he is finally playing well but that is what happens when the supporting cast isn’t good enough.
