The Chicago Bears could trade Allen Robinson to the Atlanta Falcons

Looking at the current state of the Atlanta Falcons, their offense is a bit of a mystery. The Falcons have been unable to get much going thus far in 2021, aside from some big contributions from former Bear Cordarrelle Patterson.

Calvin Ridley was poised for maybe his biggest year yet, but hasn’t been able to come up with any of those signature, big performances so far. One has to wonder if Ridley, in fact, plays better with another legitimate wide receiver on the other side. Ridley’s performance alongside Julio Jones for a few years was much more impressive than any time he’s been the number one guy.

Adding Robinson would give Matt Ryan two Pro Bowl wide receivers once again, and then maybe then the offense can establish more of a run game (Falcons currently rushing for 91.0 YPG).

The season is young, and Ryan is still more than capable of leading a top-tier offense if he has the weapons. Replacing guys like Russell Gage and Olamide Zaccheus with Robinson is an enormous upgrade.

For the Bears, they would get a second-round pick (likely the lowest pick between Atlanta’s and Tennessee’s, which the Falcons received in the Julio Jones trade).
