Chicago Blackhawks: 3 last minute Jack Eichel trades to consider

Jack Eichel would come at a big price for the Chicago Blackhawks if they wanted him.

Jack Eichel is going to be expensive. Whichever team, if any, that trades for him is going to pay a big price. Lots of draft picks and good players or prospects will need to return to Buffalo in order for this thing to get done. The Chicago Blackhawks have some good players that people would hate to see leave but getting Eichel would be well worth it.

One of those players would be Dominik Kubalik. Since coming to the Chicago Blackhawks, he has been an outstanding player. The Hawks love having a goal scorer like that on the wing in their top six. With another sniper like Alex DeBrincat on the same team, it is clear that they have some firepower. However, if they added someone like Eichel who can snipe like Kubalik and pass like Patrick Kane, it would be worth the trade.

Dylan Strome is also a good piece to go back to Buffalo. He is still young so he would fit into their future plans but he is just falling out of the Chicago lineup with all of the additions they are making. If they added someone like Eichel without giving up someone like Dach, he would almost certainly have to go back the other way in the deal.

As fans of hockey in general, it is going to be interesting to see how all of this pans out. Eichel is a great player that we all want to see competing for division titles, Stanley Cups, and individual awards in the regular season. Hopefully, he gets to leave that organization and have a fresh start very soon.
