3. Both Cole Kmet and Tyler Higbee score touchdowns

Last year, we saw Cole Kmet make one of his biggest plays as a rookie against these same Rams. It was clear the Bears hadn’t yet fully integrated him into the offense though, as Kmet played just 32 percent of snaps that game.

As the season went on, Kmet‘a snap percentages increased and he ended up playing over 75 percent of offensive snaps in his last six games. With so much attention being paid to guys like Allen Robinson and Darnell Mooney, Kmet could be in line for a decent target share. I expect him to score in this one.

As for the Rams’ side, they’ll have no problem attacking the Bears in this area. Chicago was second-worst against tight ends in 2020, per Pro Football Reference. Tyler Higbee is an athlete, and he’s an underrated part of L.A.’s offense.

The Bears will have their hands full with the Rams’ receiving core. Stopping Cooper Kupp, Robert Woods, Van Jefferson and DeSean Jackson is no easy task. That’s why Higbee might catch them as a bit of a surprise, but he could very well torch the Bears with a touchdown or two.
