2. The Chicago Bears see Justin Fields take over in the second half

With the Bears offense struggling in the first half, and Dalton likely turning it over once or twice, head coach Matt Nagy will decide to turn to his rookie. Yes, it will be much sooner than he probably would have thought. But, to the fans’ delight, Fields will take the reins in the second half and make this a much more watchable Week 1 matchup.

Now, as for how Fields will play, that may vary. I believe we will see some flashes of his athleticism and a few plays made with his legs. There will be moments where Bears fans will jump out of their seats in excitement. Yet, there might also be some moments where Fields struggles. After all, this is one of the top defensive units in football he’s playing against.

In the end, I think both offenses wake up a little bit with Fields accounting for a pair of touchdowns — one through the air and one on the ground. The Bears offense comes alive and ends up scoring 17 points in the second half, but the Rams will pull away and win this one 26-20 in an encouraging debut for the first-round quarterback.
