Travis Zajac. 14. player. 106. . C. New York Islanders

Travis Zajac would complete a very good Chicago Blackhawks group of centers.

Travis Zajac has been a brilliant two-way guy in his NHL career. He spent the second half of the 2021 season with the New York Islanders but played his entire career up to that point with the New Jersey Devils. In his career, he has played with some phenomenal wingers on his line. He is the type of guy who at this point could play anywhere needed in the lineup.

If Zajac joined Jonathan Toews, Kirby Dach, and Tyler Johnson as the team’s top four centers, they would be in great shape. At this point, any team with Zajac as their fourth-line center would probably consider themselves pretty deep at center. He isn’t like a superstar or anything but he is certainly a very solid player.

He has put together a great career that is already 1037 games old. He has scored 203 goals with 349 assists for 552 points. Zajac’s highest career finish for the Selke Trophy was sixth place but he has received enough love to be top-40 in many years of his career. He would be great on this version of the Chicago Blackhawks as they look to have a really good year. It would be cool to see a big market fanbase see just how good Zajac is.
