LW. Minnesota Wild. Zach Parise. 11. player. 98.

Zach Parise would be a great fit for the Chicago Blackhawks on a one-year deal.

The Chicago Blackhawks are well acquainted with Zach Parise. He has been a thorn in their side for years playing for the Minnesota Wild. Parise never had as much playoff success with the Wild as he did with the New Jersey Devils back in the day but now he is looking for a new home. In a stunning turn of events, the Wild decided to buy both him and Ryan Suter out.

It is a little bit surprising that Parise is still out there. There are a lot of people that connect him with more teams on the east coast but seeing him play for the Blackhawks would be really cool. He still has a chance to play some good hockey as his career winds down. He could play on many different lines depending on what the final roster looked like.

On the power play is where Parise has done some of the best damage in his career. He is one of the best ever at scoring goals right in the blue paint. He becomes even more dangerous in that area on the power play because of his ability to capitalize on “net mouth” plays. If he got to play with someone like Patrick Kane in his later years, lookout.
