The Chicago Bulls could start with some players and picks in a trade for Tobias Harris.

If the Sixers are really looking towards the future and attempting to gain assets and cap space, one possible deal they could look at with Chicago is this. The Sixers would get forward Thaddeus Young and guard Tomas Satoransky, both of whom are in the last year of their contract. That would mean next year, the Sixers get an extra $20 million in cap space.

If Philly ends up trading Simmons, then they would have a capable guard in Satoransky to fill in if they need a veteran starter.

The interesting part of this deal would be the Sixers and Bulls executing a sign-and-trade for Lauri Markkanen. There are already at least three teams interested in a sign-and-trade for Markkanen’s services, so this is not out of the question for the Sixers to get in on the action as well.

The biggest part of the trade, however, comes with the Bulls sending Philadelphia two first-round picks. These picks would be unprotected as well, but with the Bulls landing Harris to go with Zach LaVine and Vucevic, those picks likely wouldn’t be anywhere close to the lottery — at least, that would be the hope.
