Chicago Bears: 5 Allen Robinson landing spots that would cause pain
By Ryan Heckman
Allen Robinson could go from the Chicago Bears to the Kansas City Chiefs
It sounds ridiculous, but the Kansas City Chiefs continue to defy logic and prove the salary cap is something they can work around. No matter what, they keep talent around and ensure a Super Bowl caliber team in Kansas City.
Next year, they will have a couple of contracts coming off the books and, if they wanted to, they could pair Robinson with Tyreek Hill. Just the thought of having both of these guys on the same roster should be absolutely terrifying.
Currently, the Chiefs have Mecole Hardman, Demarcus Robinson and Byron Pringle behind Hill. All three have been staples for a couple of years and know the offense, but if the team shows any interest in Robinson, he would have to listen.
The pain, here, would be a lot like seeing him go to Tampa Bay. Robinson doesn’t have a shot at a Super Bowl in Chicago at the moment, but if he signed in Kansas City, there’s no question that team would be able to compete for a championship right away. Even without Robinson, the Chiefs will always be contenders so long as Patrick Mahomes is their quarterback.
