Chicago Bulls: Possible 3-team trades to land Damian Lillard
By Ryan Heckman
The Chicago Bulls could enlist the Dallas Mavericks in a 3-team trade for Damian Lillard
Probably the most interesting deal out of them all would be if the Bulls were to receive help from the Dallas Mavericks, who need some help of their own. Currently, there is a huge disconnect between Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis. They don’t play well together, and by all accounts, probably don’t like each other either.
If Dallas could somehow get rid of Porzingis, in any type of deal. They would likely jump at that chance.
Here, we see the Blazers taking on Porzingis’ contract. But, they also get quite the package to go with him. The Bulls would send Portland last year’s first-round pick, forward Patrick Williams. Additionally, Portland would get Coby White.
The Bulls would also give up three first-round picks to Portland, but the Blazers’ haul doesn’t end there. Dallas would have to be willing to give up a first-round pick in order to rid themselves of Porzingis’ contract.
In return for Dallas, they get Thaddeus Young and a second-round pick from the Bulls. Financial flexibility and the attractiveness of playing with Doncic should be more than enough for the Mavericks to add talent via free agency in the coming years.
