The Chicago Bulls might be forced to send away three studs in a deal like this.

Currently, there aren’t many trade options available for the Bulls. Zach LaVine and Nikola Vucevic are untouchables for the Bulls and that decision is warranted. LaVine is a testament to their increasing trajectory and the bonafide leader of the team. Vucevic was the organization’s second most recent trade and they gave up plenty for him.

Giving the Blazers the best talent left from the roster is the best the Bulls can do. Out of this trade, the Blazers are getting plenty of young talent with high ceilings. White is an excellent scorer just two years into his career. Markkanen has plenty of skills as a 7-footer, especially since he can shoot the ball well. Williams is a future NBA all-defense selection already at 19 years old.

The Blazers can cut their losses with a trade like this and get back plenty of talent to work in the return. This is not a trade the Bulls can dump off bad contracts and veterans to like they did by giving Otto Porter Jr. and Wendell Carter to the Orlando Magic.

Either way, if the Bulls could make something happen with Lillard, now is the time. Karnisovas has said on multiple occasions the Bulls have an “open roster” this offseason with no guarantees for anybody. Can AK work his magic in the trade market for a second time?
