Justin Janicke is a player that Notre Dame can help turn into a pro-ready talent.

Notre Dame has a lot of talent. Pastujov is probably the only player that is set to be drafted in the first round out of Notre Dame but you never truly know these days. Justin Janicke, however, is a Notre Dame commit that has the potential to be drafted in the early rounds as well. He is currently someone that can expect to be drafted anywhere from the second round to the third round. It would be awesome to see him go as soon as possible.

Janicke is someone that is always hard on the forecheck which makes things difficult on his opponent. Those types of kids that show commitment like that are always valuable assets to NHL organizations looking to instill that mentality. He is also someone that is a great skater which helps him in his efforts to be hard on the puck.

He is 17 years old but will turn 18 on Wednesday. Being that young and this talented could help him a lot in his career. There is still a lot of development offensively so Notre Dame is going to play a big part in that for him. If an NHL team were smart, they would draft him in the second or third round and let him go to school as long as he wants. Lots of players go from good to great when they do that. Hopefully, Janicke finds some success so he can reach his NHL dream.
