Chicago Bulls Draft: 3 Prospects to consider in the second-round
By Ryan Taylor
Isaiah Todd is a player that could make an impact for the Chicago Bulls one day.
Isaiah Todd, a 6-foot-10 and 210 pound forward for G-League Ignite, is another draft prospect that would serve well for the team. There is a chance that the Bulls take him with the 38th pick in the draft.
He averaged 24.4 minutes per game in the 15 games he played in the G-League this past season. He recorded 12.3 points per game, 4.9 rebounds, and 0.8 assists per game. He took around 11 shots per game and shot 43 percent from the field on the year.
Todd is an excellent post player because his post package is phenomenal. He has perfected the turn-around jumper and is excellent at off-ball movement in the post and being in the correct position.
This skill will benefit the Bulls highly because the post will be crowded with Nikola Vucevic and Daniel Theis taking up space in the paint at all times.
The best benefit of selecting Todd is the fact that he has experience in the G-league. The ability to play in the G-league is becoming a cherished part of players’ resumes because they are able to see the professional arena before the big dance.
The Ignite team is obviously seeing a lot of action in the upcoming draft with Jalen Green and Jonathan Kuminga trademarked as top-five draft picks. Another power forward to take the spot of the probable free agent, Lauri Markkanen, will benefit from a rookie contract to take his place.
