Playoff free agents for the Chicago Bulls to pursue: SF Reggie Bullock

Speaking of overhauling the small forward position, Reggie Bullock could be a good fit in Chicago as well. The 30-year-old found a home with the New York Knicks this past season and surely they would like him back. But, Bullock’s success with the Knicks could lead him to a bigger pay day elsewhere.

The Bulls really need to find some defensive-minded players and Bullock fits that mold. He’s a scrappier player who plays physically and with an edge. Just ask Trae Young.

After a few seasons playing mostly as a rotational guy, Bullock has become a starting wing in this league. Last season, Bullock started more games than he ever had in his career (64). He’s become a pretty solid 3-and-D type of player and would fit well with Chicago. The Bulls could use an outside shooter at the wing to go along with Zach LaVine, but more importantly, a guy who can play a more physical position.

Bullock’s postseason saw his numbers dip a little bit, which will be interesting to see how that impacts his free agency this summer. In five games during the playoffs, Bullock averaged just 8.8 points on 38 percent shooting.
