Chicago Bulls: 3 crazy trade packages for Ben Simmons

The Chicago Bulls could use this to figure out the Lauri Markaanen situation.

There are a few different problems that the Bulls could fix with a Ben Simmons trade. One of them is the Lauri Markannen contract. He is currently up and looking for a new deal with a team in the NBA, whether it’s the Bulls or not. If the Bulls want to take a chance on Simmons, giving up Coby White, Markannen, and that second-round pick might be a good idea in the long run.

For one, you never know how Ben Simmons plays once he gets to another team. It seems like he is going to be out of Philly for sure, we just don’t know where. Coby White is a nice player but he can be used as a trade piece if needed. Markannen is the real story of this trade.

We don’t know what his contract is going to look like because he has been so up and down in his career so far. It feels like the Bulls are out on him but you never know. In this trade, it would be a “sign and trade” type of deal. The 76ers would more than likely be involved in that process if they wanted to take on that project. Markaanen hasn’t really lived up to that rookie season that he had so it will be interesting to see how the Bulls handle it. If they can get Ben Simmons out of him, it might be worth the try.
